It looks like the iPhone is almost ready and it looks like the price is the US will be around the $600 range. That means that in South Africa we look at a price between R4500 and R6000 (depending on profit margins - of course).

This is not a bad price considering what some other hand sets costs. At the time of writing this entry, the Nokia N95 was going for around R7000.
